The kennedy engineering kit use a weird starter with the billet plate, its drilled specifically for what they supply. I dont know what car/truck its for. Can’t remember the exact part number, but I used the black one for my Prestige 363.View attachment 128874

I called him but He’s not sure On hi torque cross reference.Any input from Chris? I picked up a NOS 997 axle from him and will be going with a similar motor. Interested to see how this turns out.
Spoke to powermasters today, that starter will not work nir do they sell one that will smh. After talking to the guy he said my starter is more than enough to turn my motor so that got me thinking. I came home checked everything and am thinking i got a bad starter.. i have 12.84v at battery terminal on starter and 7.2v on the Solenoid ignition wire when crank. if i disconnect ign wire from starter and turn key to start i have 12.84 at same wire. Thoughts? Im thinking starter
Yes all grounds are good. Head, block, trans all have there own 4g ground. I’m going to try grounding starter bolt aswell.do you have the engine block grounded well? I use a 4 gauge battery cable from the battery to the frame and from that same point on the frame 4 gauge to the starter bolt that holds the starter to the bell housing.
