Looking good Hamish, it’s like all these things, progress is good, then you hit a snag that holds things up, then you get past it and your off and running again. Keep going.

Got the base painted with POR15 today.

Primer and top coat done on the base and car finally off the rotisserie. Playing with seat placement and pedal box placement before doing the brake plumbing and aircon placement.

Still here. Just been busy away from the car for the last 2 months. Not ideal. Managed to get my body however. Not ready for it but it was doing my nut guessing where I was drilling holes without the certainty of knowing where body parts went.

Right. Getting back to the build. Focus has been elsewhere, but now back on it. Whilst I have been painting the driver side front chasis I bought a u-shaped aluminium bar, cut it to x2 46cm bars, drilled 1cm holes along it to start building the condensing radiator frame. Drill press came in handy. Etching paint first layer on as well.
