Took a trip down to Lee Dawsons yesterday to pick up some body panels.
Superb quality.
Now I have got them home and had a good look I am even more impressed.
Garage is looking a bit smaller though.

The doors have a really solid feel to them and I particularly like the way he has done the hinge pins.

This is the hinge mechanism which is built into the door.

Hi Nick. Yes he really takes a pride in his work.
I wish I had taken some pictures of his moulds while I was there.

Apologies for the intrusion, and I may have missed this, but how do you weld a chassis like that without a jig?

I believe all the parts have pins and locating holes align them, then tack and weld, pretty good idea. However I'm sure a much more qualified person will be along soon though to correct me

I'd like to believe it is that simple but I know it isn't.... If it is possible to weld an entire chassis this way, then I stand corrected, and amazed!

If it is done in a certain order so that each part stabilses the next then that's pretty clever!
