RCR wiring diagram

Hello, I check the forum but I cannot found any drawing that shows the wiring diagram of a RCR GT40, if it exist ? or may be my car was wired specifcaly by the person that built it.
My car was built about 12 years ago, and I have no documentation with it. Of course I traced most of the wires from the fuse box, but itr reamains some mysteries, like components that seems to not be protected by fuse or I did not found it ! If somebody has the same fuse box than mine, could you copy me your diagram, Thanks!

To my knowledge, there was not an RCR Wiring Diagram. The wiring package was ala-cart but included with the delux package. You’re basically on your own to choose the wiring package you like and to wire the car the way you like. I bought my car from RCR with the wiring package made by EZ-Wiring. It was a 21 circuit as I recall - had a single fuse box that included a turn signal relay.

what you’re showing in your photo looks like a do it yourself wiring center with two separate fuse panels and some assorted relays.
I know this is not much help, but at least you know there has not been an RCR Wiring diagram and most likely there is still not one.
So, if I am correct - to make use of what you have will be the process of elimination and making your own drawing..

Thank you Randy, I was expecting this answer, Walter already mention the EZ-Wiring package but mine is really different. Nothing is impossible, I just have to pass more hours on it.

Jean-MarcI am just getting started on my RCR40 wiring using the Haywire TA fuse box and many bundles of wires. There are a few diagrams in the instructions but no comprehensive view because the kit is intended to work with multiple configurations/components.

I will document how I put mine together, but it may be a few weeks before get to a point where I have something to share.

Cheers, Randy

Randy, thank you for this suggestion, it will be nice to follow your progress. On my side I identified the switches, fuses positions and when I can the colors of the cables. The wire looms are made on a veryt profefionnal way with quality connectors. It seems that it is following a chart shown in the Car Builder vendor catalogue from UK, this seems logical since the car was built there.

There is a lot of good information on here from years ago as well.
Here's a couple :::

The cool thing about the first link is you can un layer it. Pick only the circuit that you wish to work with.

The search function is your friend. !!!!!!

Brian, Thx much. Ultima GTR is a good reference and the Painless documentation makes me think I might buy their harness and ditch the Haywire. Cheers, Randy

If you want to go cross-eyed....
Thx for sharing. I am using that one as a starting point. I am thinking to have four relay boards. One for the front clam, one for the rear clam, one under the dash and one near the engine. That way all the switch wiring can be 20 AWG.

A new information, I just learned that my car is using a wire loom made by GTA. Does anybody has the wiring diagramm of a GTA GT40 ?

This book in softbound is certainly worth the 25 bucks or so if only to give you a good over view of what is involved and some good examples of individual circuits, componite selection, and the overall homebuilt vehicle wiring process. I think it would be pretty useful to a hotrodder that lacks general electrical training.

The best resource you have is this forum. Any questions you have will be answered. I'm fairly certain of that. Ask away. Especially sourcing parts and supply's

I like American Auto Wire. In my opinion is much better than Painless as I have had an issue with them on a tech support call. I pointed out a problem they had running 40 amps through a 14 G wire feeding a fuse block. All I got was a line of BS as I was told I didn't know what I was talking about.
