I am at the point of fitting my dash/plenum/spider. I wanted to make the dash removable and have found a few previous builds that have done so. However, it appears this was done when the plenum was molded to the dash, or if it was constructed of sheet metal under the cowl area. I don't see any builds with a removable dash using the current RCR plenum configuration. It is about 1" higher in the center area.
When I try to slide the dash in over the plenum, I can't get it up high enough to go over and still clear the A-pillars and the windshield. This leads me to two questions:
All my experience has been with Cobras and Coupe's where if the dash were not made removable, it is almost impossible to address any gauge or wiring issues.

1) Has anyone figured a way to make the dash removable with the RCR top-mounted plenum
or
2) How easy is it to work on the dash components when it is mounted permanently?
