RCR GT40 removable dash

I am at the point of fitting my dash/plenum/spider. I wanted to make the dash removable and have found a few previous builds that have done so. However, it appears this was done when the plenum was molded to the dash, or if it was constructed of sheet metal under the cowl area. I don't see any builds with a removable dash using the current RCR plenum configuration. It is about 1" higher in the center area.

When I try to slide the dash in over the plenum, I can't get it up high enough to go over and still clear the A-pillars and the windshield. This leads me to two questions:
1) Has anyone figured a way to make the dash removable with the RCR top-mounted plenum
or
2) How easy is it to work on the dash components when it is mounted permanently?

All my experience has been with Cobras and Coupe's where if the dash were not made removable, it is almost impossible to address any gauge or wiring issues.

This is a shot of the current RCR plenum showing the raised bump-up in the center

I also wanted to be able to remove the dash. I cut the taller center bump off, made the plenum the same height all the way across. Will add some diverters. Also modifing the dash at the dempster grill for better flow and ease of removal. I also cut the top ends by the a pillars of the dash off and will mold them to the spider.

GTD dash on KVA chassis. I made my dash plug & play and removable. My dash slides in and is screwed to the upper chassis members.
I just fibreglassed some mounting points to my dash corresponding to the beams that sits below the dash.

A bunch of conectors makes the whole dash plug & play.

While I never finished this part of my build (sold the car), I was setting it up to have the plenum bonded to the dash. Note that the front of the dash is actually to be held in place by the front of the spider. You’ll have to loosen the spider to slide the dash rearward.
