Hello everyone.

Time to introduce myself. I am a 63 year old man from Helgeland in Norway. I have always had a passion for sports cars and especially the GT40 and Pantera. I currently own a DeTomaso Pantera that I am restoring (I expect to finish it during the summer)
I have always dreamed of owning a Ford GT40, but these cars are too expensive for most people. Then a replica is more realistic within the financial reach.
Late in 2023 the decision was made to go for an RCR GT40 and Deluxe Plus package, and the contract was signed with RCR on 04.04.2024 through a local car and workshop company.
I am now in the 13th month of waiting and hopefully I will have the kit before the summer holidays.
I have also acquired a new 302 engine and a used G96 gearbox that is just waiting to be put into use.
I won't be the most active on this page, but I will probably post some pictures and tips.
I really appreciate all of you who post your builds with good pictures and problems and suggested solutions.

Thank you. It's great to get together with enthusiasts with the same interest. I'll probably need a lot of good advice eventually.
