I never knew this forum existed. What a great site. About 15 years ago I stopped in a shop in western NJ and the guy had the rear body part of an original GT40 and he was making a square tube frame replica. Wanted one ever since. I'd seen an original race at Pocono a long time ago and until seeing that replica in progress I didn't realize that there replicas. I'm a Porsche guy ('69 911, '88 951, '81 931) but would like to build one of these beauties when I clear out the garage. I found this site while searching out info on Raydyot mirrors. I have a pair that I took off of my '59 AH Bugeye Sprite SCCA vintage racer before selling it a decade or so ago. Was going to use them on the 911 which I was planning on modding in R-Gruppe style. It's too nice to do that so I never did it so I"m selling them. I'll make a post in the classifieds.
