Just a heads up to everyone…
We do our best at GT40s to weed out the bad actors that register here, but now and again, there are a few turds that make it through under the guise of being a truly interested GT Buff (oh they have very convincing stories). Our friend Brian has nailed a number of them recently, but we can’t always know what they are up to.
CAUTION!!!
If someone relatively new reaches out to you in direct message to “help” you with those parts you’re looking for - proceed with all caution and then only after you have either met or spoken with that person.
CAUTION!!!
We get new people pretty frequently that will post “Does anyone living near XXXXX have a GT or SL-C that I can look at before I spend my life savings??”..
Think about it -
If you were a crook looking for a specialty car to steal - wouldn’t phishing forums like ours be a good place to start??? Proceed with caution. I’d advise not having them come to your home or business until you got to know them pretty darned well…
CAUTION!!!
