Looks great, I just wonder why is has a decklid vent as it shouldn't be there on a mk2b.
It looks more to a mk2a now with just the snorkels removed as it still has the mk1 front clip and dashboard.
Otherwise way better in detail then my mk2a.

Yes... we contemplated not having the vents and after talking with numerous people who have and/or worked on numerous originals, track cars, and other builds, we went with vents for heat reasons. Living here in Utah with deserts and mountains during the summer, it gets really hot...
While P1047 was my inspiration, We did not go 100% on numerous areas of the car for many reasons from function to my style liking. Left-hand drive is one, at 6'4" it has a bit more room in the cockpit, the 427ci engine is an all-aluminum dry-sump ( just over 600hp), different color wheels, different dash, a/c
...So while its a beautiful GT40 in every way, in essence its a mk2a with just the snorkels removed and not a mk2B.
I sure do like the twin Holley setup as Holman Moody did with P1047.

Looks amazing Jorgen. I bet that Gold in the sunshine is jaw dropping. Well done. I may be forced to bring my baby MkI up to play. I know I won't keep up, but I will have a lot of fun trying.
