The Simeone Museum in Philadelphia has Demo Days where they bring out some of their cars for a drive. June 11th, they'll have some cars of interest. Before the Demo Day starts, there might be a guest lecturer talking about GT40s and GTs (the talk isn't yet listed on the site).

Now that they've updated the website, I can say who will be there on the 11th. Camillo Pardo, the chief designer of the 2005 Ford GT will be there.

Join us for a special pre-Demo Day chat with Camilo Pardo,the Ford designer who penned the 2005 Ford GT. The very car he used as inspiration, Ford GT-40 Mk I chassis #1030, will be on display for Pardo to use in his discussion. This event will take place immediately prior to the start of our Americans at Le Mans Demo Day and is free with regular museum admission and for Simeone Museum members.
