High Powered Starter For Graziano

I saw a video from David Mazzie who is building a 5 rotor SLC. He covered purchasing a high powered starter for his build and the same company makes a 2.2KW starter motor for the Graz.

I’ve read in some instances the stock VW/Audi starter can struggle turning over a hot engine. Just figured I’d post this for reference…

My starter had an issue with an LS7. Upgraded the battery->starter wire and then spun it over great. 4 gauge was TOO SMALL even with the battery in the engine compartment. I now run 0ga with battery up front and a disconnect switch.
