So,,, I decided to make things more painful and am working on doing a custom dashboard. This will be just a buck for now,, as I the plan is to make a mold of it and do it in epoxy. It's going to be a two part dash, but the back half will be pretty easy, it will also give me enough room to mount to 2 x 5 1/2" speakers, and of course vents for defrost.
I plan on using an LCD screen for the gauge cluster, as well as one in the center that pops up. I will also be adding a piece that connects it to the center console. As well as a small glove box in the bottom.
Please keep in mind this is still in the VERY rough stages of being built.
