I just had a look at the arrangement print for this engine. As far as i can see the headgasket is not listed as a special item for these heads and there is a note stating "all other components not listed are "fomoco" parts".
So i would guess a cooperring gasket (or any other std gasket) for a regular 289/302 would work?
The Cooper rings are the same as those used on my 302 Tunnelport which also uses a C8FE block. The Tunnelport doesn’t use a gasket with the Cooper rings but I thought I read somewhere that the GT40 Weslake engine did. If it just uses Cooper rings, that’s fine, then I just need the Cooper rings and no special gaskets to go with them.
That size you listed there is not correct for a SBF 302 bore. I will contact them and see if they make other sizes. Thanks for the lead, I appreciate it.
I saw an old post from Scotty13 about Cooper rings and it sounded like he found a place that would make these Cooper rings for him. Does anyone know who that might be? I messaged him but he hasn’t responded. I’m not sure if he’s on this site anymore.
Did this company make the Cooper rings for you or did they stock them? I have a couple original rings that I can get dimensions off of if that’s what they need to produce them.

I got a quote from them back in January to make rings that look like they’ll work. The problem is the unit price per ring. Here is what they quoted me and the dimensions of the rings they can produce.
