Car Insurance Help Please UK - Adrian Flux Beware
I'm building a Tornado GT40 I spoke to Adrian Flux who sold me a Policy via AXA I explained that the car was being built and was not going to be used on the road for 6 months but would be trailered to a bodyshop and back to my Garage
I was quoted £750 fully Comprehensive which I thought was reasonable, now I have been told they need a registration Number which I can NOT provide, they now quote me £1,100 for 3rd part as a laid up car - I have told them to "do one!"

Any suggestions for a company or broker who can provide laid up ie build in process policy I need to get this sorted fairly quickly

any contact or suggestions would be appreciated

Hello Andy thanks but only for 30 days... and I originally told them it might be 6 months before its finished

They used to do it for the duration of the build which could be a few years

I’ve used Backford Bloor when I was building the cobra- I think they are now M R Bloors now.
