Body sealer query

Hi guys,

I hope this is the correct area, it would be useful for GTs or any car where weather proofing might be needed.

A friend of mine was given a tin of a product from the USA. It is a sealer that comes in two parts, a white liquid and a red hardener. The product when mixed runs freely and is easy to pour, when set it turns into a latex like material. Apparently this product is very good at displacing air etc so a good seal is easy to get with no "tunnels" in fine cracks eg: between the inner and outer wheel arches of an everyday car. Apparently the silicon based products are bad for this tunnel effect.

Unfortunately the tin my friend was given was exposed to thinners at some point and the label was destroyed.

Any help tracking this product down would be much appreciated.

Apparently nothing like this is available in Australia.

The usual bitumen products tend to go hard and crack with time creating places for water to sit.

Thank's Phil,

I'll pass it on, hopefully he'll find it somewhere in there.

In case not, does anyone else have any ideas?

My friend has been doing bodywork for years but has apparently never seen a product as effective as this before. He's holding off on a restoration until he can locate some more.
