Adjustable throttle cable mount for sliding pedals

What have people done for a throttle cable mount for the RCR 40 with the sliding pedal mount. Needs to be adjustable to move with the pedals. Is there an adjustable cable mount that slides like the main unit?

Steve, RCR does sell a cable attachment for the Tilton pedal assembly if that is the pedal assembly shipped with the GT40 kits.

Mine are Wilwood. I will check with Fran if they make something otherwise i will re-engineer the top plate of my slider to have the throttle mount. Drive by wire would be so much easier but i have a borla so i cant use drive by without going crazy making that work lol

Steve,
I don't have a Borla, but this is how I accomplished my Adjustable Pedal vs. Accel Cbl dilemma on my 363ci carbed LH drive RCR40 :

Wilwood Throttle Linkage Kit 340-12412 & Lokar Throttle Cable TC-1000HT96 (Your length might vary).

From the engine, I ran the Cable through the firewall and down along the LH side of the tunnel. From there it loops up, around, down and attaches to the Throttle Linkage kit via a fabricated Bracket. Several Bracket iterations and a lot of Cable adjustments later it works like a charm. The Bracket being attached to the pedals along with the cable loop allow the pedals to easily move back & forth.

HTH, Rod

Rod was kind enough to share his design with me and I can attest that it works well. Only mistake I made was in using aluminum for the fabricated support because it does flex a little. I'm in the process of changing it for a steel one.

Chet,
Thanks for chipping in on this. Your pics of the fabricated bracket are much clearer than mine and, yes, I used steel for the bracket. I also have to give credit to a certain prototype engineer from a major manufacture who helped me figure this out.

This is what i went with in the end. Cheaper than paying for the wilwood bracket lol

nice, but do not forget to add a support on the left to put your left foot when the clutch do not need it. And the support needs to be part of the slidding device.

No need for support my foot rests on the clutch pedal. Never had the need for a support. I have one in my cobra and never use it.
