What is everyone using for air cleaners or screens with their 8 stack systems?

For a Borla ? I was forced into buying from Borla at a premium, you can't buy K&N from any one else.
There must be other brands but i didn't look very hard .

Those of you running screens take your motor apart after 3,500 miles and look at the pistons. Screens will not stop sand or fine particles from getting in your engine.

I’m going with the vintage looking Borla setup. The individual screens are over $500/set. I’m thinking I could make my own system that filters but also has a more “correct” look. I like the trumpet look.
Not my motor, but the injection system I plan on using.

This is the way to go, in my opinion, road and track. I ordered mine directly from ITG since I wanted them with a stainless steel flame trap layer (not exactly cheap). The latter is important if you run Webers or similar carbs! Their life span is limited to a few years though! When the foam starts to disintegrate it's time to get new ones.

Seal the Turkey pan to bottom portion under rear clip

Add additional Perspex /polycarbonate window to front of rear clip

Add filter material to each side of air inlets

Leave trumpets open as all air under the rear window has been filtered through the side inlets

I like these better than the individual air cleaners.

I just had a thought I will check out. Make a base to fit the top of the carbs or air horns and use a filter like the old Dodge, dual 4 or like what I made to work on a Cross Boss setup . The first top I made was out of 1/2 inch fiberglass - you could watch the air fuel flow when you crack the throttle.
