01x/01e clutch dimensions

Hi all, does anyone have transaxle dimensions for the 01x / 01e to help me with designing an adapter plate? Im needing the dimension from the bell housing face to the clutch thrust bearing face when the thrust bearing is touching the clutch cover fingers while clutch engaged, ie not depressed. Or any thoughts on where in the thrust race travel this should be. I have about 20mm of total movement. Do we go for a 50/50 or bias more towards clutch depression leaving less for rising clutch plate fingers due to wear. Im aware that some Audi engines require a separate bell housing spacer shim of 5.5mm or 11mm probably to put the clutch in the correct position.
